Samsung Reaching Out to Developers to Fix Apps in Preparation For Android Tablet | Android Phone Fans

Samsung Reaching Out to Developers to Fix Apps in Preparation For Android Tablet | Android Phone Fans

The real question for me is: Why is this not an announcement from Sony? The Google-Sony strategic alliance was announced in May. Samsung looks poised to eat Sony's lunch, since the Tablet market is heating up, post iPad launch. I presume that Sony is still in the process of getting its own divisions in order (maybe they're still deciding how draconian the DRM will be--zing!).

If Samsung is able to match this with Galaxy phone launch, they could shape up to be a real competitor for Apple as well. Samsung seems more nimble than Sony, between their Android phones and this forthcoming tablet, and Samsung might be a better match for Google after all. All of this really underlines Google's strength right now, as it has no shortage of dance partners.
